My story, My life

Born and brought up in Delhi, India, I am currently living amidst a lot of love and greenery with my family.

For years, I had bad personal image and was struggling with depression (without any medication). I struggled with excessive weight, chronic digestive issues, mood swings, low self-esteem, and a total lack of self-love.

I did practice yoga, I did do meditations, I did my yoga certification from Yoga Alliance, USA, but still a complete acceptance of myself was missing. Then, a wave of change came to me in the year 2016. It was my decision to get healthier. NO additional thoughts. No weight goals. No ifs and no buts.

This was when I learnt to let go of the desire of a particular outcome. I wanted to focus and just work on myself. No questions asked. I think I took a sabbatical from life for myself. I started eating well, practicing a disciplined fitness regime, and of course, traveling, and a lot of it.

And in clichéd terms, I had to lose myself to find myself again. It really did happen for me. And after 2 years and 22 kgs lighter, I felt the world has so much on the table to offer and that’s when my brand, The Wellness Table happened.

I did my certification of Holistic health coaching from Institute of Integrative Nutrition, New York, USA and a diploma in Nutrition and Health Education from IGNOU University. It has been a journey since.

After helping hundreds of clients with different issues, here I am still learning, still progressing and, sometimes, still struggling. But, hey, it’s okay. I love myself in the lows and enjoy myself in the highs. And life is all about exploring new vistas.

I love to work with clients who have complicated issues because then the journey of healing is even more interesting. From Thyroid to Gut health management and from PCOS to Weight loss, I believe that the body is united and any problem is a part of the domino effect. So going to the root of it, is the key.
